After-School Fun!
皇冠体育官网’s Center for Discovery provides an array of after-school programs and youth athletic leagues for kids to explore new hobbies or enhance their skill sets. All programs are open to the community and led by Christ-centered mentors who encourage students to explore their God-given skills.
Explore the Forest – Session 2
For boys and girls in 3K-1st Grade
Students will use fine and gross motor skills to explore and learn about nature. Students will be on the nature trail to gather and collect, make mud pies, and build structures out of sticks.
Dates: Tuesdays, March 19, 26, April 9, and 16
Time: 3:45-4:45

Elementary Cross Country
For boys and girls in 3rd grade -5th grade
Do you love to run? Do you want to learn the proper technique and skills to become a better runner? Come and get some exercise and learn about running. Join us each week as we run on the Peake Cross Country Trail. We will train and end our season with an elementary cross country meet. Bring your running shoes, a water bottle, and we will have a great time. We will conclude our session with a race on March 25th
Dates: Mondays, March 4, 11, 18, and 25

Spring SAT Prep Course
Each session will begin promptly at 3:30 pm and be done by 5:30 pm. During each session, students will receive instruction for the verbal and math sections as well as practice test questions. The purpose of this 8-hour SAT class is to offer test familiarity with the SAT, review math concepts and verbal skills expected on the SAT, and reduce test anxiety associated with this kind of test. Although we cannot guarantee an increase in scores, test familiarity and practice strengthen that possibility. Students will rotate through a strategy session and sample test with Brad Thompson, math sessions with Julie Black, and verbal sessions with Kristy Alvarez. The cost will be $115.00. This is a very reasonable amount compared to other personal SAT Prep courses. Even if your child cannot attend all sessions, it would still be worth the time and money.

Prep for Mini Camp: Spirit Cheerleading Classes
For girls in 2nd-5th grade
Calling all cheerleaders! Now is the time to practice your skills for the summer and fall. Spend time with an 皇冠体育官网 cheer coach and 皇冠体育官网 cheerleaders working on motions, cheers, stunts, dances, jumps, and more! In this camp, your child will practice their cheerleading skills and then put together a routine done by 皇冠体育官网 cheerleaders. There will be a parent showcase on the final class, April 18th, from 4:30-5 pm.
Dates: Thursdays 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, 4/11, 4/18 (last class will be a parent showcase)

Elementary Robotics
For boys and girls in 2nd-5th grade
Students will build engineering and critical-thinking skills as they work together to explore real-world scenarios. Through the theme, Masterpiece, students will explore how people share their hobbies and interests in creative and captivating ways, imagine and innovate new ways to communicate art across the globe, and build a place of their own designs to share their interests. Students will learn to design, code, and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by LEGO Education Spike software.
Dates: Tuesdays, February 27, March 5, 12, 19, 26
Time: 3:45-5 pm
Location: Innovation Station

Other Music Lessons
Open to all ages
皇冠体育官网 offers a wide variety of music lessons with talented teachers here on our campus. Many of the teachers are well known in the community and in our school family for their exceptional musical talents.
Lessons are available in guitar, piano, flute, trombone, drum, violin, and clarinet.
